We are fortunate to have one of our valued technicians celebrating 45 years in the Motor Industry.

Mick has seen significant change in the industry since starting at the age of 15 and to his credit he has successfully evolved with it, bringing a wealth of knowledge that is invaluable today.

He brings with him old school techniques, skills and experience whilst now working on the latest vehicles using our specialist manufacturer specific diagnostic equipment.

Mick is keen to share his knowledge with our other technicians, especially with our Level 2 Apprentice.

He has always been a hard worker having had a paper round at age 13 and working as a bottle boy at the local Griffin Pub in Higham Ferrers soon after.

He started out in the Motor Industry working at Nene Motors then JC Motors, followed by New Street Garage.

Then came his partnership and friendship with Alan Cowland BMW in 1985.

In 2012, Alan Cowland BMW transitioned into Richard's German Car Specialists and was then acquired by BTN Automotive in 2021.

Today, The Team wish Mick good health and happiness as he celebrates his 60th birthday.

We are extremely lucky to have Mick as an integral part of our team.
